What’s inside every story
One page per story, with four ways to share it with your child.
- 1
The whole story, ready to read aloud
Written for the ear, about 8 minutes long, with a 60-second version at the top for little ones and tired nights.
- 2
A picture storybook with narration
Full screen, one page at a time. A warm narrator reads along and each sentence lights up as it is read. Bedtime mode slows everything down.
- 3
The Bible beside the story
Every quoted line is the King James Bible, word for word. Tap it to see the verses, or read the story and the Bible side by side, in the KJV or the Berean Standard Bible.
- 4
A guide for grown-ups
Questions to ask for ages 3 to 12, honest answers to the hard questions children ask, and a note on exactly what we added and what we left out.
Try it: open the storybook for The Ten CommandmentsTap “Read to me” inside the storybook to hear it narrated, or “I will read it” to read it yourself.
How we tell these stories
- Every story is told as true, and starts by saying where it is in the Bible.
- Words in quotation marks are always the King James Bible, word for word.
- Nothing happens in our stories that the Bible doesn't say: no invented innkeepers, no talking animals. Each story lists the explanations we added and the parts we left out.
- No moral tacked on at the end. The story stops, and the questions for grown-ups come after.
- Hard parts are told in one plain sentence, with calm pictures.
Questions parents ask
What ages are these Bible stories for?
Children from 3 to 12, and the whole family. Each story is written to be read aloud to children of about 4 to 9, has a 60-second version for toddlers and tired nights, and comes with questions to talk about for ages 3 to 5, 6 to 9 and 10 to 12.
Are the stories faithful to the Bible?
Yes. Every quoted line is the King James Bible word for word, nothing is added that the Bible doesn't say, and each story lists what we explained, what we added and what we left out, with the verses.
Which Bible translation do you use?
The quoted lines in each story are the King James Version. Next to every story you can read the full passages in the King James Version or the Berean Standard Bible, a modern translation.
Who narrates the stories?
An AI voice recorded ahead of time, directed to read like a warm grandparent. Every recording is checked word for word against the text. You can pick a female or a male voice.
Are the stories free?
Yes. Every story on this page is free to read, listen to and share.
