About Tinykiwi

I'm Sankalp Jonna. I'm based in India and I build small, focused websites at the intersection of faith and software. Tinykiwi started for two reasons that turned out to be the same reason.

First, the existing kids Bible apps online were almost uniformly a half-step off for the family that actually uses them. The dominant free option (YouVersion's Bible App for Kids) has been stuck on the same 41 stories for years and never grew into the actual scripture. The premium options leaned hard on quizzes, unlocks, and progress streaks. Audio-first, calm, no-ads, screen-off-friendly stories were the gap.

Second, while testing all those apps with kids in the room, I found the missing pattern: a family app that happens to be for kids, narrated by a real voice, paced so a toddler does not have to ask "wait, what?", and faithful to the King James verses behind every story. So I started building one. It's called Tinykiwi, and it's the reason this site exists in the form it does. The directory is the testing ground and the marketing surface in the same place.

The testing is entirely hands-on. The writing is not. After using an app, we capture raw findings (typed notes, screenshots, screen recordings, voice memos) and feed those raw findings through AI to be organized into the structured review you read on the page. The judgments, scores, rankings, and "best for / skip if" calls all reflect our actual experience with the app. AI is a writing tool here, not the judge.
